Great, I can now buy .PDF versions of Hasbro’s (Hasbro owns WOTC) D&D books for the (and this is part that sticks in my craw) same price? WTF? What is the advantage to that? I can now buy the books that normally come hardcover, digitized and…print them out? This makes absolutely no sense to me. None. Maybe less than that.
Though, to be fair, I’m not Hasbro and I wouldn’t have published 20 bajillion books in the D&D line thus diluting the whole thing and making it so only the idle rich own most of the released books. So maybe they gots a plan or something… If I had to guess, I’d say it’s to wring as much money from the D&D system as they can before they run it into the ground. Bastards.
