E3 is through. Wow. And damn your eyes!

So E3 will be no more …  Wow.

I'm pretty surprised because it seems like forever now that E3 has been THE big event for games. Game development houses spent months working up demos or pretend demos for E3. Publishers paid bajillions to advertise both there and that they would be there. All kinds of extravagant spending on all kinds crazy stuff. Not to mention every game reviewer worth their salt was was prehyping, overhyping and then super hyping each game that was set to appear and then did appear. Of course, maybe they didn't like spending all of that money.

A lot of money spent hyping games that probably didn't deserve it most cases… But I thought it paid off for them. Apparently it doesn't. I was pretty damn surprised to find out it's been canceled. I just assumed it would be around for as long as games themselves were.

While Next Generation isn't saying it's a rumor or unconfirmed, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't canceled.

Oh, and if it is canceled, damn your eyes! I never got to go!

Read this book!

Worse than Watergate.

Why, you ask? Because it's very good. It's written by one John Dean. You might remember him as one of the star witnesses in the Watergate case. He covers mostly the first term of the current administration, but it's in such detail it's very much worth it.

Though, if you somehow respect the current administration and want that continue, do not read this book.  Read the interview and read the book. EVERYONE. Really.

I’m still here…

I'm still here, but my new job is…well, lets just say the pace is hectic. :)

Give me a bit and I'll get back on the stick here. Do plan on seeing more updates at night though. And more editorial content about everything. I'm effing mad and I'm not going to take it anymore. Ok, I'm lying, I'm mad and I'll continue to bend over.

This is the industry I want to work in…I don’t know what my problem is.

'Game Industry burns out talent'

It's a good read, very true and quite retarded. Companies don't have to run like that, if they are well run. The last part being key.

Human Space Invaders!

Awesome video
