Here’s a good tip for all high schoolers out there. Playing CS? That’s fine as long as you don’t plan on blaming it if you go on a murder spree. Making maps of CS? Same principal applies. Making maps of your school for CS, while you’re still going to that school? Not so good.
Yeah, you should be able to make a map without a problem, you should be able to make it be whatever without a problem and so on. But in today’s culture, making a Counter-Strike map of your school definitely has to be up there with Things That Will Get You Kicked Out Of School And Maybe Worse.
Local police evaluated the student’s PC and determined that no criminal charges were warranted. School officials, however, decided that disciplinary steps were called for.
See what I’m saying? The schools are all on edge these days. You can’t be doing things that will set off their this kid is going to fuck us up alarms. They are way to touchy about that stuff and it’s just not smart to be pushing there.
Unless of course, you’re looking to get banned…
