What Would Matt Do

I reckon I aim to play some games.

And I was thinking I was going to skip Soulstorm

without comments

Turns out I was very, very wrong.

In addition, THQ is pleased to announce that gamers purchasing copies of the recently released Warhammer® 40,000™: Dawn of War® – Soulstorm™ will be able to participate in an invitation-only multiplayer beta program for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II set to take place at a future date.

So yeah, umm…I admit it, I’m a sucker for a beta of a potentially awesome game. Plus, if I play in the beta, I’ll get to see the game as Relic intends it to be, before they patch into a game that is nothing like the originally released game. And yeah, I guess I could go for playing soulstorm. I’m silly like that. Relic keeps patching their game into something I don’t recognize and I keep playing. Those bastards!

Oh, by potentially awesome, I mean this:

"Dawn of War II will re-define RTS gaming to gamers worldwide, delivering brutal frontline action and tactics, and allowing players to get straight to the action with unprecedented fast-paced RTS gameplay and a full co-op campaign, all in stunning cinematic detail."

What Would Matt Do: Apparently I won’t be learning to be patient or not to be enticed by marketing gimmicks. That would be too easy!
