I have been playing this game since launch and it was fun in the beginning but its almost like this post was written with a vision of the future, relic has fucked their game so many ways that its only recognizable to the vanilla by the unit models. Relic needs to just spend the time to find out if their game is balanced correctly not to constantly release new balances and throw what seems like random combinations of new statistics at their problems with the hope that maybe it will fix itself...

Check out what they've added to tonight's patch.

"Requisition points are now updated to use a new system. Points are worth +10 upon capture, but this value now increases by +5 every 15 seconds up to a maximum of +35. When uncaptured, this value resets to +10."

So now Requisition income can increase drastically for the individual that maintains map control, making a retaliatory push much more difficult for the other who has been pushed into their base.

"Requisition points will no longer be reduced in resource rate in larger games."

I guess this means you can expect 3v3 to be more cluttered now. I liked the previous requisition income rate and thought it was well-balanced for 3v3 though.

I've been quite annoyed with Relic since the patching mess that was CoH/Opposing Fronts; I promised myself not to buy Dawn of War II. A week of beta was all it took to crumble my resolve, but thanks to this patch list, I'll probably take a wait and see attitude too.

Can't wait to see what kind of balancing changes Relic pulls out of their arses next.
